| Valero Texas Collegiate Champion | |

The 2nd annual Valero Texas Collegiate golf tournament kicked off this past Saturday, September 21 with a three-day tournament which concluded on Monday, September 23. The tournament held at TPC San Antonio featured some of the finest college golfers in the country as well as some storied golf programs in the NCAA.
The field included nine (9) of Golf Channel's Top-30 teams entering the fall: Auburn University (No. 1), University of Oklahoma (No. 3), University of Virginia (No. 5), and Vanderbilt University (No. 6), University of Mississippi (No. 10), University of Tennessee (No. 11), Louisiana State University (No. 18), University of Georgia (No. 26), SMU (No. 27).
Virginia’s Ben James, No. 5 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, shot 6-under 66 in the final round, making birdie on the final hole to get into a two-man playoff with Auburn’s Josiah Gilbert. James then made birdie on the first extra hole to win, the sixth victory of his collegiate career. As Valero Texas Collegiate champion, James earns an exemption into the 2025 Valero Texas Open, to be contested April 3-6.

| 2024-2025 Champions fore Charity Kicks Off October 9 | |

Isn’t it difficult to pass on 107% revenue with zero risk? Champions fore Charity provides charities and school programs a chance to raise funds and receive 100% of funds generated and receive more through incentives offered, including a 7% match provided by the Valero Texas Open and the Champions fore Charity program partners.
The seven-month campaign will kick off October 9 and will conclude April 14, 2025 – providing ample time to fundraise as much or as little of the season as desired.
Registration is free to participate in the 2024-2025 fundraising campaign for charities and schools and is underway. All types of philanthropies, as well as school programs like athletic teams, dance & cheer, science programs, PTA, Project Graduation and much more… are all welcome to participate.
Funds are generated by soliciting donations from individuals and corporations with the flexibility to pay in advance or to be billed after the tournament. Donations are accepted from anywhere around the world and are tax deductible, thanks to the Valero Texas Open’s non-profit 501(c)3 status.

| 100% of the funds raised through the fundraising campaign goes directly back to the participating organization. | |
| Billing, collections, and tax thank-you acknowledgements are provided features of the program. | |
| Ability to bundle your existing fundraising events with Champions fore Charity to minimize donor fatigue and maximize the 7% match opportunity. | |
| Donors have a chance to win prizes. | |

| By raising a minimum of $1,000+, participating organizations can earn an additional 7% match on what’s collected in the program. | |
