| Volunteer Uniform Distribution This Weekend | |
| |
We are looking for volunteering enthusiasts with a passion to help and together create a fantastic Valero Texas Open experience for PGA TOUR players, corporate sponsors and spectators alike. During the week, you'll make new friends, get a behind-the-scenes look at a PGA TOUR tournament and witness many of the world's top golfers as they compete right here in your back yard!
You will receive benefits as part of the Volunteer Program presented by Frost including grounds admission for a guest, complimentary beverages and food during your shifts, a volunteer polo & hat, tournament access all week, and more! Volunteers who work over 18 hours receive one transferable appreciation golf round and those who volunteer over 30 hours receive two rounds of golf at TPC San Antonio.
With so many options, it's hard to choose just one! Here are just a handful of committees you can join: Caddie Services, Gallery Management, Hospitality, Refreshers, and Tournament Ambassadors.
For those who have already registered to volunteer - thank you! We look forward to seeing you this Friday and Saturday at uniform distribution. If you haven't already ready registered, register by March 16 to secure your spot!

The 2023-2024 Champions fore Charity fundraising program recently hosted a Mid-Season Social on February 29 at Rock & Brews which provided a mid-season distribution of collected funds totaling $5.8M to 69 of the participating charities. Program Ambassador Randy Carroll with KJ 97 and our newest Program Ambassador Sarah Forgany with KENS 5 were on-hand to help celebrate the charities hard work, mid-season achievements, and encourage the momentum to continue strong.
Champions fore Charity has raised over $11.5M to date, which is closing the gap to this year's overall goal of $15M. Charities are striving to seek new donations before the 2024 fundraising campaign concludes on April 15. Participating organizations will receive 100% of the funds raised, plus a 7% matching gift on May 29 at the annual Celebration of Champions event.
Donors Can Win:

| Through the Guess the Champion Contest, donors can guess who will be the 2024 Valero Texas Open Champion for a chance to win a Stay & Play Gift Package to TPC San Antonio and the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa. Participating donors who have provided an email address will receive an email from tournament officials allowing them to select from the player field who they believe will win the tournament. The winner will be drawn from those who correctly guessed the tournament champion and receive the grand prize, along with earning the benefiting charity a donation of $5,000. The Stay & Play Package includes a three (3) night stay at the resort, breakfast for two (2) each morning, spa service for two (2), and two (2) rounds of golf for two at TPC San Antonio. | |

Charities Receive More:
| On March 4, participating organizations submitted commitments and contributions for the EMCOR Industrial Services Pro-Am Charity Challenge incentive deadline. The "Great 48" charities, based on amount raised to date, have each earned a $700 bonus for their organization and will be represented by an amateur pro-am team playing the EMCOR Industrial Services Pro-Am on Wednesday, April 3. Based on the team's performance, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place pro-am teams will earn their respective charity additional incentive funds. | |
| There is one last Drawing fore More Awareness deadline on March 18. For every $500 worth of donor forms submitted (based on commitment amounts), the organization earns one (1) entry into the current drawing. One (1) random organization will be drawn and selected during a Facebook Live with one of the program Ambassadors. The winning organization will earn $2,500 and will also be featured in one (1) dedicated social media post on the Champions fore Charity Facebook page. | |
| Through the tournament proceeds, the Valero Texas Open will provide a 7% matching gift of the total collected funds per participating charity. The incentive will match up to an incremental $10,000 per organization. | |
